If after 5 minutes past your shift the next volunteer has not arrived, you should inform the Manager Volunteers. Thank you for your support in keeping everything running smoothly!
What to do?
- Use the two coffee percolators and two hot water dispensers to ensure a continuous supply of coffee and hot water.
- While one is in use, prepare the second to replace it when empty. So machines two are in use to serve drinks to the dancers while two are “not available” even if finished heating. Therefore place a “Do not use sign” on two machines at all times.
- Responsibilities:
- Always have fresh coffee and hot water available for tea or noodles.
- These are provided free of charge and without limits.
- Supplies:
- Water can be refilled at the bar near the entrance.
- Coffee grounds and tea bags are stored behind the bar.
How to Use the Coffee Percolator:
- Fill the percolator completely with water and coffee grounds.
- Plug in the power cord.
- Wait for it to heat up. The coffee will be ready once the process is complete.
- A separate instruction manual is available from the rental company for additional help.
Paper/Glass/Deposit collection
- Guests may hand in:
- Paper waste: Place in the crates behind the bar.
- Glass: Place in the designated box.
- Deposit bottles: Store in the plastic crates.
- Note: Deposits are not returned. Guests wishing to claim the deposit can take the bottles to a local supermarket.
- Plastic Bags:
- Available for waste collection.
- Cleaning volunteers usually collect them during their shifts.
- Bag Designation:
- Transparent bags for plastic waste.
- Dark bags for general garbage.
What if you have to dance the competition?
- Return to the bar between heats or coordinate with Bar (1) to cover for you.
- Typically, you won’t be dancing in the same competition, ensuring a smooth handover.
- Be prepared to reciprocate when the roles are reversed.
Thank you for ensuring everything runs seamlessly!
